Smadar is a Jewish woman, activist and scholar of Yemeni descent. This work in progress is part of larger series of portraits of Arab Jewish women. Through poignant stories of struggle, they unveil a myriad identity, and a complexity that deserves to be held in order to draw dissident lines of solidarity.
